Current Volunteer Postings

Thanks for your interest in working with our team to support and extend the reach of Renovaré! We are currently looking to fill the following three positions.

1. RI Lecture Video/Audio Editor

At every RI residency, we record high-quality video and audio of 12 lectures and a few other shorter bonus sessions. We are looking for someone to do basic but important editing on these recordings (trimming, adding graphics at the beginning and the end, uploading to the RI unlisted YouTube channel, creating separate audio-only versions, etc.) We estimate this involves 12-15 hours per residency, and there are four residencies this year. The term of this volunteer position will be one year (4 residencies.)

Training and templates will be provided, but the editor will need to own (and have proficiency with) a video editing platform (preferably Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.). You’ll also need high-speed internet to download and upload the files.

2. Renovaré Webinar Resource Wrangler - NOW FILLED - THANK YOU!

If you’ve attended any Renovaré Webinars, you know that afterward, we offer a replay of the webinar alongside a resource page containing links to all the books and initiatives mentioned. We’re looking for a keen listener to attend each webinar and take note of all the mentioned resources. After the webinar, the Wrangler will track down links for all of the resources and create the resource page. In addition to attending the webinar, we estimate the Wrangler will spend 1-4 hours tracking down links afterward. This would be a one-year term and would involve 5-6 webinars.

Training and templates will be provided, but the Wrangler should know his or her way around a Google doc and enjoy online research. If that’s you, and you have a heart for extending and connecting the spiritual formation community:

3. Renovaré Book Club Podcast Transcript Editor - NOW FILLED - THANK YOU!

This year in the Book Club, we are offering weekly podcasts to help guide the reading process. Many of our Book Club members (especially those with hearing issues or alternate learning styles) appreciate receiving a transcript of each podcast. While we do get an initial transcript, it takes a special touch to correct errors and deal with the quirks of the spoken-word-to-written-word-translation to make the transcripts readable.

We are urgently looking for someone to do this transcript editing for the remainder of this Book Club season. The role will involve editing twelve podcast transcripts. The podcasts are recorded in batches of six. (The first six are available for editing now and the final six will be available in late March.) The editor may choose to do the editing in batches or edit a week at a time. We estimate that the editing will take 1-3 hours per podcast.
